PaceCalc is built around a simple privacy property: the math runs on your device. There is no account system, no calculator backend, and no database of user inputs on our side.

What we don’t collect

• Nothing you type into the calculator. Distances, times, paces and predictions are computed by JavaScript inside your browser tab. They are not transmitted to our servers — you can confirm this in your browser’s network inspector — and they disappear when the tab closes.
• No tracking cookies from us. We do not set analytics cookies, fingerprints or cross-site identifiers of our own.
• No accounts or email lists. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to leak.

What the infrastructure sees

• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp — to deliver pages and defend against abuse. We do not build profiles from it.
• Advertising. This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure and — where consent applies — personalize ads. You can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings. We do not see or store the data Google’s systems process on their side.

Local storage

The calculator does not need localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB — your inputs live only in the page while it’s open. If a future feature ever stores a preference, it will stay on your device.
